Doocy Asks KJP How Long

Fox News White House Correspondent Peter Doocy asked White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre straight up how long Vice President Kamala Harris has thought President Joe Biden has done a bad job with the border issue.

Doocy asked Jean-Pierre about Harris’ campaign promise to add more border guards to stop people from coming into the U.S. illegally. President Joe Biden put the vice president in charge of addressing the “root causes” of migration in Mexico and the Northern Triangle countries in March 2021. During her time in the administration and as a U.S. senator, she changed her mind several times about how she felt about illegal immigration.

“How long have you guys known that Vice President Kamala Harris does not think President Biden is doing a good job at the border?” Doocy asked, followed by Jean-Pierre asking him to repeat the question. “Well, she’s now promising to hire thousands more border agents than there are now under President Biden.

“The president does want more Border Patrol agents,” Jean-Pierre said. “You know who’s getting in the way? Republicans in Congress. They’re getting in the way. You know who else is getting in the way? The former president, Donald Trump. He’s getting in the way. I mean, there’s no daylight here. I’m not getting the question because there’s no daylight. The president believes that as well and he’s worked toward doing that.”

Jean-Pierre talked about the Emergency National Security Supplemental Appropriations Act, which was meant to give money to hire more Border Patrol agents and immigration judges to speed up the process of immigration.

The law also wanted to get rid of foreigners who came to the U.S. illegally when the average number of people coming in each day for a week was more than 5,000.

In a 49-50 vote on February 7, Senate Republicans stopped the bill from moving forward. Speaker of the House Mike Johnson said the bill would be “dead on arrival” in the House.

A lot of ads from Harris’s campaign say that the vice president plans to make the border safer and ease the problem. In a July ad, Harris is said to back up hiring more Border Patrol agents, using new technology to stop drugs from coming into the U.S. and spending more money to stop people from being trafficked.

Harris was the “border czar,” and Rodney Scott was the head of the Border Patrol during that time. On August 8, Scott told the Daily Caller News Foundation that Harris never talked to him.

Scott also told the DCNF that the Biden-Harris administration “redirected millions and millions” from enforcement operations to let more illegal immigrants into the U.S. He also said that the administration was giving taxpayer money to NGOs so that they could fly more illegal immigrants to “wherever they want to go” instead of putting enforcement first.

Harris, when she was a senator in 2018, said that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) was like the Ku Klux Klan and that the agency should be gotten rid of. She also said that she thought illegal aliens should be able to get health insurance in 2020.

HEARTBREAKING NEWS: CHRISTINA APPLEGATE’S HEALTH TAKES A DEVASTATING TURN

Is deeply saddening revelation, beloved actress Christina Applegate has announced a devastating update regarding her health.

James Walker stood at the airport check-in counter, his newborn daughter, Lily, cradled in his arms. His eyes were red-rimmed with exhaustion and grief, but he held himself together as best he could. His wife, Emily, had passed away during childbirth, leaving him as the sole parent to their fragile little girl. He was now trying to return home to Denver from New York, where Emily had wished to have their baby close to her parents. But just when he thought he was finally on his way home, the airline attendant shook her head. “I’m sorry, sir, but airline regulations require that infants be at least seven days old to board a flight without proper medical clearance. Your baby is only five days old. I can’t let you on this flight.” James swallowed hard. He had no idea about the rule. He had no hotel booked, no family in New York, and barely enough cash to get by. The thought of spending two more days alone in a strange city with his daughter was overwhelming. His voice cracked as he pleaded, “Please, I have nowhere to go. I just lost my wife. I need to get home.” Other passengers turned their heads, some offering sympathetic looks, but no one stepped forward to help—except for one. “Excuse me, young man,” came a warm yet firm voice from behind him. James turned to see an elderly woman with kind, gray eyes and a cane in her hand. “I couldn’t help but overhear. My name is Meredith Carter. And you’re coming with me.” James hesitated. “I— I don’t want to trouble you.” Meredith smiled. “Nonsense. I raised four children and six grandchildren. A newborn doesn’t scare me. You and your daughter need a safe place to stay, and I happen to have a cozy guest room just waiting to be used.” James felt an overwhelming wave of gratitude wash over him. With no other options, he nodded. “Thank you. Truly.” Meredith’s home was a charming brownstone filled with soft light and the scent of lavender. She showed James to a comfortable room and quickly set up a makeshift nursery with an old cradle she had kept from her grandchildren. That night, as James fed Lily, Meredith sat beside him with a warm cup of tea. “Emily would have loved her,” Meredith said softly, watching Lily’s tiny fingers curl around James’ hand. James looked up in surprise. “How did you know my wife’s name?” (continue reading in the 1st comment)⤵
