Sanford’s car crossed the center line and collided with a recycling truck, igniting her vehicle and forcing the truck off the road. Authorities found no signs of speeding, drugs, or alcohol—she had simply been on her way to work. Later, friends noticed her posts, revealing she had been on her phone moments before the accident, underscoring the risks of distracted driving.
