FORMER DEMOCRAT SENATOR STUNS

Former Sen. Joe Manchin stunned Fox News viewers by saying Donald Trump is the only figure who can “bring this country together” after the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Manchin, a lifelong Democrat known for his centrist streak, urged Trump to calm political rhetoric and unite Americans, calling him uniquely capable of bridging the nation’s deep divide.

His remarks came as partisan tensions flared in Congress over Kirk’s death. Heated clashes erupted between lawmakers, with Democrats accusing Republicans of fascism and GOP members firing back with blame over violence. Even a planned moment of prayer turned chaotic, underscoring how Kirk’s killing has only deepened Washington’s polarization.
