Official Cause of Death for Brandon Blackstock, Kelly Clarkson’s Ex-Husband, Confirmed

Authorities have confirmed that Brandon Blackstock, former manager and ex-husband of singer Kelly Clarkson, passed away at the age of 48 from natural causes. The Silver Bow County Coroner ruled that the underlying cause was melanoma, a serious form of skin cancer.

Blackstock died on August 7 at his home in Butte, Montana, where he was receiving hospice care. Coroner Dan Hollis shared these details following the official investigation into his death.

In a heartfelt statement, Brandon’s family said, “He bravely battled cancer for more than three years and passed away peacefully surrounded by family.” They expressed gratitude for the support and asked for privacy during this difficult time.
