Carrie Underwood Sues ‘The V!ew’ Hosts, Demands They Shut Down Show “This Is A Show That Lies To Its Viewers”

In early 2025, rumors circulated that country  music star Carrie Underwood had filed a lawsuit against the hosts of the daytime talk show “The View,” demanding the show’s cancellation due to alleged defamation and invasion of privacy.

These claims originated from a YouTube video by the channel OkayRickk, which quickly amassed over 350,000 views.

However, upon closer examination, reputable sources have debunked these rumors, confirming that Underwood has not taken any legal action against “The View” or its hosts.

The controversy began when Underwood announced her decision to perform at President Donald Trump’s inauguration in January 2025.

This announcement sparked a range of reactions, including criticism from “The View” co-host Joy Behar.

Behar questioned Underwood’s support for Trump, stating, “How do you love your country and support and normalize somebody who’s a convicted felon and, in my opinion, wants to destroy the country?”
