A short preview was given by singer-songwriter Grace WanderWaal at her 2016 America\u2019s Got Talent audition, just before she made her on-stage debut.<\/p>\n

When Grace was twelve years old, she declared, \u201cI\u2019m doing my own song tonight, because I really think that it shows who I am.\u201d Grace was born in Kansas but was living in New York at the time.\u201dHopefully. I\u2019m hoping it does.<\/p>\n

Grace\u2019s incredible performance earned her the nickname \u201cthe next Taylor Swift.\u201dIt also set her on a prosperous, glitter-covered path. She took home the $1 million prize on AGT in Season 11.<\/p>\n

When Judge Simon Cowell questioned Grace about her belief that she may win, she responded, \u201cMiracles can happen, so possibly.\u201d<\/p>\n

She responded, \u201cIt\u2019s about me,\u201d to Simon\u2019s question about the song she would be performing.She continued by saying that the majority of her school pals \u201cdon\u2019t really know I sing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Her friends and AGT viewers were the first to notice her unique voice and approach to passionate songwriting.<\/p>\n

Grace, backed by a ukulele, dazzled from the first note of \u201cI Don\u2019t Know My Name,\u201d an honest and emotional song about coming to terms with one\u2019s identity.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy name is unknown to me. Grace sung, \u201cI don\u2019t play by the rules of the game.\u201d\u201dYou say I\u2019m just trying, that\u2019s right,\u201d<\/p>\n

What verdicts did the judges render?<\/p>\n

Grace prepared to hear what the four judges thought of her audition as the standing throng went silent and chairs were taken.<\/p>\n

Howie Mandel was not shy about sharing his thoughts.<\/p>\n

He declared, \u201cThis is a show about surprises.\u201d\u201dYou referred to yourself as a miracle, and in my opinion, you are a gorgeous, walking miracle.\u201d<\/p>\n

Howie went on, mentioning something in the lyrics of the song that said, \u201cYou\u2019re original.\u201d\u201dI believe that everyone will know your name, thus it is both right and wrong for people to not know it. They will probably recognize your name by now.<\/p>\n

After that, he pressed the Golden Buzzer, launching Grace into live performances. Grace broke down in tears of joy and Howie ran to give her a hug.\u201dYou are incredible,\u201d he said to her.<\/p>\n

Simon revealed that Grace\u2019s ability to draw inspiration for songs from her personal experiences made him think of a pop star.He said, \u201cGrace, you know what I predict for you.\u201d\u201dYou could be the next Taylor Swift,\u201d I said.<\/p>\n

What a wonderful girl. \u201cWhat a wonderful personality,\u201d Simon exclaimed to the other judges.<\/p>\n

Amazing, commented Heidi Klum.\u201dThat truly is amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cShe is unique,\u201d Mel B remarked.<\/p>\n

\u201cDo you believe that you are now a star?\u201dSimon was asked by Howie.<\/p>\n

Simon declared, \u201cI think we\u2019ve got a star,\u201d and he was \u201cannoyed\u201d that he was left out of the Golden Buzzer press.<\/p>\n
