Authorities responded to the scene on Walnut Acres Drive around 12:45 a.m., according to the Catawba County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n
Roughly 100 people, including children, were attending a pool party when multiple shots were fired. The shooting occurred outside and involved both the front and back yards of the residence. The scene extended to a nearby yard, making it a large and active investigation area.<\/p>\n
One person died, another is in critical condition, and several others remain hospitalized. Officials have confirmed that multiple firearms were used, but no suspects have been identified yet, and no arrests have been made.<\/p>\n
