Every day, many people get into cabs, trusting the driver. And sometimes, even a short trip can turn into a surprise.<\/p>\n
When I was 18, I called a taxi late one night.<\/p>\n
The whole ride, the driver kept staring at me in the rearview mirror.
\nWhen we got to my stop,<\/p>\n
I told him to pull over, but he drove past it.
\nI panicked and yelled, \u201cStop the car!\u201d<\/p>\n
He slammed the brakes, then slowly turned around with a cheeky smile and said, \u201cI was just testing your patience!\u201d
\nI blinked, confused. \u201cTesting my patience?\u201d<\/p>\n
