Last week, Starbuck informed executives at Walmart about his upcoming story on wokeness within their organization. However, instead of confrontations, they engaged in a discussion to explore solutions. Starbuck, a vocal critic of what he calls \u201cwoke policies\u201d in corporate America, revealed the changes in a detailed post on X (formerly Twitter).<\/p>\n
He credited \u201cproductive conversations\u201d with Walmart executives for the company\u2019s decision to pivot toward what he described as \u201ccorporate neutrality.\u201d Starbuck framed Walmart\u2019s decision as a major win for the growing conservative push against woke corporate policies.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am simply advocating for corporate neutrality,\u201d Starbuck explained. \u201cI believe that that is the future because I understand there are people in this country who do not agree with my politics so it would not be fair of me to force my politics on them the same way that I am not okay with left-wing policies being forced on me and people like me via things like DEI.\u201d
